The Making of the King James Version

DVD jacketprice button

When Puritan leader John Rainolds suggested a new translation of the Bible into English to replace existing flawed versions, scholarly King James I was all for it. He appointed 47 scholars to the task and enthusiastically followed their progress. The result was a translation of beauty and fidelity. The Making of the King James Bible is the story behind it. You will gain a new appreciation not only for the King James Version, but of the difficulty of rendering God’s word into any foreign language.

Co-produced by Cartesian Coordinates.
